Kia is a cutie and we have no clue sure exactly what breed mix she might be.  She is truly a mutt ... and what a sweet mutt she is.  She has a beautiful chocolate/caramel swirl coat and the most gorgeous amber/gold eyes.  Based on her appearance and her personality, she is probably some sort of terrier/(maybe) boxer/lab mix.  She has a small bone structure and is not highly muscled … she is more a soft body type.

Kia is medium energy level and gets along great with most other dogs.  She is a very low-key, submissive personality and she responds best to kind words and patience.  She gets her feelings hurt easily and just ‘shuts down’ if you fuss at her.  She is a smart little girl and we think she would be great with the socialization and structure of an obedience class.  It would also be a great bonding experience for her with her new family.  She loves being inside close to her family and though she is doing well with crate-training and housebreaking, there is still an occasional accident.  She will love to get a new forever family with a nice fenced yard where she can play safely.  She has a playful side but she waits to be invited to play.

Nothing would make Kia happier than to find a forever family of her very own who would include her in all the family activities.  She loves to be loved and she gives back so much more!

If you think Kia might be the perfect pup for you, please go to
www.allamericanmuttrescue.org, click on Forms/Application and complete your adoption application online.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have 10 or more applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Kia picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
